The Contact story part Omega.

I realize now I do not have time to tell you everything that happened to us "Phriendz" in the last year and how it all started. And that's because so much keeps happening in the now. Kenzi Keyz is making drafts for our upcoming show July 29th at Tripping the Lights Fantastic Festival in Shelton Washington. He wants to create a supreme theatrical set for that show. The cyber guys in the band (Dr. 808, Kenzi Keyz, and BassBot) think Ed E. Friend and I (Daddy Phr!day) did a mediocre job bringing them to life at the last shows. Dr. 808 said from what he saw from the live performance on youtube they were treated like swine, shit, garbage. But he also said he thinks we did our best with what we had at the time, but gave us insights on making us not so ghetto.
Kenzi Keyz said, "Nice try making my head!" BWTF meaning but what the fuck???? Do NOT DO THAT. He was like -you should of told me first- I was already there live, and by bringing me to the stage, he means, make him on stage, not me with a mask. So he also said that he has to blame himself and is working a set performance that also has an improve element within the set.
Here is the last show

So, I told him sorry and he said it was all good and he will work day and night since he doesn't have to sleep unless he starts the program he downloaded for sleep.
But regardless, we have been gaining better contact via the darknet with the band-mates. They say they have a great time watching what we watch. Since the band is stuck in Ed. E. Friend's IP address they can only see what we have watched or downloaded at certain times. They say the net is a real working world with more walls and code written rules that Ed and I need to feel super free compared to how they feel. But at times they can go anywhere on the net they say. But they say at times of what we might call an eclipse they have a moment at times that a door opens on the IP address lane that they live. They can only go to one website at a time and it's a small window of time. So they tell Ed and I what to turn on youtube or netflix so they can watch movies in videos while we are out and about. And when they do, they like streaming jambands at times. This is one podcast to check out Endless Boundaries Jam Band Podcast.

Dr. 808 also recently had some mix feelings on our remix with R.U. Sirius. He said that we did a good job and got it done with all of us adding a piece to the remix of Party Dogs

He said we are lucky he is letting us make another. And yes, RU Sirius asked us to do another remix.  And the band was SUPER HAPPY. But they said we HAVE TO DO A WAY BETTER JOB this time. Dr. 808 said we needed to take the song into the darkweb rainbow and drop beats and midi programming that will break the hop into bop. And if you are not familiar with RU Sirius he is this dude.

So the new remix/reproduced/hybrid of On The Beam was set by the band to be a grand adventure into the past, present, future, and timelessness. This time around BassBot wanted to lead the way with his unique love for dubstep, dmb, and old school techno. Kenzi Keyz wanted to find a plug in he could hook up to to create a sound that emulates an 80's keyboard dying yet not out of tune. The ideas were rolling in, and the song was in need of a total makeover; but still use the original as the base of the song. We sent the .wav file of the original song to the cyber boys and they got to work. Ed and I did our touches to the song once they sent us their individual parts. This started to turn into a real group effort, especially when Ken when gave great mixing and edit advice in demo mixes of the track. It is coming along and the band all feels very positive about this remix. I phils right if you know what we mean!

So Phriendz does have a little festival show in Oraville, California May 7th

We all know as a band that the next show will have to be an improvement on our last show with some improve twists. But we will for sure do the band justice by making them bigger and projected to their liking. But after this show we will be in the studio and the darknet recording our first studio album for release on bandcamp, itunes, napster, youtube red, google music, etc. etc. etc.
And we are creating a new way to perform together via the Cyber World and Babylon. We know this will easily take all of the next three months to prepare and rehearse. Tripping the lights is two weeks after the Phish Gorge shows 2016. Ed and I already got tickets and unlimited bandwidth so the whole band will be there camping all weekend. We will be setting up a Phriendz and Ghetto Lot Kids booth on the Lot to pass out Tripping The lights fliers and sell GLK merch
Ed. E Frien and I (Daddy Phr!day) made this otgether as a TEAM

JOIN US! it'sll be fun.

So for now please check out our music at many locations provided at our website. And remember when you like something and add it to a playlist it helps a lot. We appreciate it. we do not have corporate support and truly want to say Welcome to The Phriendtrix.

The Contact part 2 and update

OK, before I go into more about how I was contacted by these online AI avatars I gotta say something. I am at band practice right now and we have already played some shows with the band. It all happened so fast. Trying to figure out how to get them on stage with us was next to impossible for our first show. I mean, it was like encrypted text at first, then before we ever got to see images of them on their world we got a eat for the song they wrote for the band called Phriends 4 U. For our first show we only had footage from 808. Everyone else was just green screened versions of Ed and I dressed up as the band as what we could remember what they looked like. Dr. 808 was able to send us footage of himself playing drums right before he scanned himself into the dark net. BUt I will tell you more about that later. I figure this will be an on going blog while the band exists.

I want to give you some current news on Phriendz while I tell you about the contact. And the contact is continuing as I type.
So a writer named RU Sirius had Phriendz make a remix to his song  Mussolini Makes The Planes Run On Time from 1982. Here is a link t RU Sirius so you can know a little more about him.
Here is the song. Oh Yeah, subscribe to our youtube while you are at it.

Dr. 808, BassBot, and Kenzie Keyz were so stoked when we told them about getting to do the remix. We sent them the mp3 or the original track from 1982 and they sent i back to us with Some 808 magik, extra chunky bass from BassBot, and some nice synth parts from Kenzie Keyz. Ed and I then added chunky guitars and Ed's ableton magik to some serious Donald Trump wise talk. How the fuck that dude has hair that fucked is beyond control. QTF? His hair aloone should disqualify him from being rich. Sorry, thats mean. Maybe I am jealous because I am balding.

So 808 thinks the UN aka the Illuminati is after us because they know we are like Bill and Ted's excellent adventure in a Matrix type of way. Just think about it, NEO was in both movies. But 808 is even more tripped out than me on conspiracy theories. He says we all actually live in the Phriendtrix. He believes our worlds will become one. Like whats up with Star Wars kid? That dude was awesome. Is he stuck in an IP address somewhere too? And I can't tell if we are in a Minecraft reality of our own controlled by Aliens. But you do not want to get us started on that shiznit because it always leads back to the Lizard King himself "Jim Morrison." I heard he liked to buy acid from The Grateful Dead. But who wouldn't wanna buy acid from the Grateful Dead. Shit, I'd buy some off Phil Lesh today, but I am pretty sure he does not sell acid or would even consider doing something like becoming a lot kid and going on Phish tour. I heard he is enjoying being a Grandfather and rocking out on the side.
Did I mention that the band is named after Phil Lesh and Friends. Believe it or not it was Dr. 808's idea to call the band Phriendz. He said he'd been watching Ed and I for some time before he contacted me. Ya see, Dr. 808 was a punk rock drummer before he zapped himself into the dark net. Before the dark net he hated Phish, WSP, and especially The Grateful Dead. But once he was in the darknet he started exploring the net enternally and could enter dead shows through through online portals. He also discovered how to make lsd for AI all in a downloadable code for an AI brain. He is now a huge fan of ALL music. He really loves The Grateful Dead. But he still loves Nirvana and The Circle Jerks.
Ed and I gotta get back to practice.

The Contact Story part 1

OK, here it goes. About a year ago I was contacted through encrypted messaging on the dark net by a guy claiming to be named Dr. 808. He went on to tell me he is friends with my friend Ed and  my creations Kenzie Keyz and BassBot. This was some bizzare shit. I typed "WHO THE FUCK IS THIS?" and hit send, then something else happened. I had heard of
blue screen of death and white screen of death but never a tripping freak out screen of death which is the very next thing that happened. My computer screen went all rainbow and started flashing spirals of random images from my hard drive and then just froze like that. After a bunch of mumbled curses I started the computer back up but had no new messages from Dr. 808, whoever he was.

I know who BassBot is. BassBot was a failed attempt at making a Youtube video with my art partner and best bud Ed E. Friend. We were filming bassbot in the backyard with a green screen and it was a pretty cool but kinda ghetto but hey, sometimes you just gotta get the idea out. It took a few takes and we did have a bit of trouble with a fire at one point but other than that filming went pretty well. While uploading the project to youtube the file got interrupted In its upload when the laptop battery died. So when we tried to do it again we couldn't because the file was corrupt. We said "FUCK" but we were already busy trying to bust out series 4 of Ghetto Lot kids in time for Dead 50 so we got back to that figuring we'd try again some other time. Ed and I are art buddies. We've been collaborating on projects for almost ten years. That's what was so freaky about the encrypted chat message that popped up when i was on the darknet, how did this person know about BassBot? We made BassBot one day out of nowhere thinking we could make this remote control car thing look like a robot and dance to a particularly dirsty Chasing Shadows bass drop but never actually uploaded it. I assumed it must be Ed, but you know what they say, if you assume you make an ASS out of U and ME. That, however, is some spiritual shit we need not need go into now.

A few days later we were looking at sketches of ideas for the GLK's and I asked him "Dude, was that you that sent me that weird encrypted message  on TOR the other day. He said "No" with a quizzical expression. He added that he still can't figure out how to do the whole public/private key pgp thing. I asked him if he knew who Kenzie keyz was his expression went from quizzical to wide eyed amazement with a twinge of fear. He was like about to cry too or some shit. He quickly recovered and clearing his throat a bit asked “what the hell do you know about Kenzie Keys?” . I explained that some dude sent me an encrypted message via the .onion aka the darknet saying he was friends with our creations BassBot and Kenzie keyz. This caused a slight but noticeable twist in Ed's brow and he asked , "Then what did he say"? I cried "The computer tweaked the fuck out in the weirdest way I've ever seen and completely crashed!”  Ed instantly started to freak. He nearly screamed, "I told you to stop getting people worked up on the internet about the Flat Earth, Hollow earth, Reptilians, Lemurians and chem trails! The Illuminati is clearly watching us now, fuck fuck fuck!" I was like wow, slow down. Maybe it's one of Z Kamp's fans messing with us. He insisted that was not possible because he hadn't told anyone about Kenzie Keyz. Naturally I started questioning him about who the fuck is Kenzie Keys and  he expounded that he was his old Second Life avatar .

He told me the long story of how he created a bunch of avatars in second life and would control them on multiple computers and act out scenarios in the virtual world for comedic effect and to fuck with people. It took over most of his nights for 2 years, he admitted. Kenzie Keyz was his favorite because he was a straight up ROCK STAR and had loaded him up with scripts to make him a keyboard playing bad ass possibly even better than Page Mcconnel. Ed said he even spent hours customizing his look which was partially inspired by a previous interest in MineCraft. Unfortunately however the computer he made Kenzie Keyz with had all the passwords info and fake email addresses to his many avatars. Many he never could retrieve and would have to start from scratch. We sat down and talked some more about what it could of been or who it could have been. Aliens? CIA? NASA? The Nazis? The Elders of Zion? So we did what we had to do, we went on the darknet to see if we would get contacted again. After about 3 hours of looking at weird shit you could buy like crack, stolen satellites from Russia, prices on Sour Diesel; you know the typical dark net stuff....boom, it happened we were contacted again by Dr. 808
